Insulin increases the utilisation of glucose in tisues and fascilitate the storage of glucose as glycogen in muscles and liver.so insulin lowers the blood sugar level.
<br>Insulin increases the synthesis of fatin the adipose tissue from fatty acids and glucose.
<br>It reduces the breakdown and oxidation of fat.
<br>Insulin promotes the protine synthesis in tissues from amino acids.
