Is taking glucophage and alcohol safe? 
I am type 2 diabetic and in control of the blood sugar. Before breakfast i take diamicron and during lunch immediatley after food i would take a glucophage and the same after my dinner normaly by 7.00 p.m.

What happens is that before my dinner i would have a glass or two of beer or wine. maybe twice a week.

Should i be concerned?

wine is better than beer for you. please take water after you drink wine. One of the greatest gift bestowed by God to man is intellect. We should be thankful and use it for well being of mankind. Alcohol destroys this gift by killing our brain cells which is irreplaceble.
