After treatment, blood cancer can go away for a long time and possibly never come back. When this happens, patients may say they are cured.

Sorry to say that. There is no cure for cancer. Cancer patients only go for treatment to help them live a few years longer, but they eventually die shortly because the cancer cells spread fast and treatment sometimes cannot stop it.
