| Can anybody tell me how to configure SQUID proxy server on a suse machine?? |
| I need to configure it so that the users will have to authenticate with a login and password before they can access proxy services.. and additonaly, i'd need to set up daily quotas so that once a person exceeds that quata on a ceratain day, his account will become inactive automatically for the rest of the day.. |

if you are a basic linux user then download a front end for squid such as webmin and it will help you to configure all servers.
other wise
you configure in /etc/squid/squid.conf

search the line ACL and add a new rule
