Which is the best motivator to an employee in an organisation-- Monetary or Non monetary incentive?

According to me non monetary incentive is the best motivational factor . It doesn't mean that monetary factor doesn't have any role . Still if you get an external motivation not in terms of money it is going to effect you more . Taking the other case if all the time you are motivated only in monetary terms ,there is no value given to human relations
