| Actally moon is rotating about the earth and the earth is rotating about the sun so the moon is rotating about the sun. |

It depends on which of the two you chose as your point of reference..
<br>this is because, as everything is in motion in the universe, the correct statement would be that the moon and the sun are rotating about each other,
<br>and for that matter the earth and the sun are rotating about each other..
<br>Considef the earth and the sun for instance.. the point about which the rotation happens is neither the sun or the earth but lies between the two.. now as sun is far more heavier than the earth, this point is far too closer to the sun than to the earth so that, laymen would say, earth rotates about the sun.. |
