INRI means "Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm." This is a latin phrase and they used I for J and V for U. Th eactual meaning of INRI is Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum .ie;"Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."
